The main purpose of this lighting project is to enhance the night view and image of the city. The designer hopes to achieve the goal that buildings with different functions, on different locations can express their own personalities, based on people-oriented lighting. For example, universities are full of vibrant and art atmosphere, and buildings of the business area has a rich and colorful downtown atmosphere, and small scenic spots have their unique artistic conception.

Project area is mainly concentrated in the center of Chang'an sub-district and around West Chang'an Avenue, including numerous commercial, public, and private buildings, such as Sakura Plaza, Chang'an District Hospital, Chang'an District Cultural and Sports Center, Chang'an Cultural Center, Shanglin Stadium, Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, Shaanxi Normal University and 6 residential buildings of Zhixin Sakura Garden.
